I’m Head of Engineering at GotPhoto, leading a product-centric team that builds the platform professional photographers use to run their business. In my own time I build personal projects under the Weatherly Labs name — a watch face studio, a weather app and live transit maps — mostly on Cloudflare and with a lot of well-directed agents.
Watch face design studio for Wear OS
A drag-and-drop editor for designing Wear OS watch faces without code. The web studio and Android companion share one data model that maps directly to Google’s Watch Face Format, so a design can be pushed straight to the wrist. Includes AI-assisted design, a 3D renderer and a creator marketplace.
Weather, done thoroughly
A personal project: forecasts, ensembles, severe-weather alerts, a live lightning map, METAR, tides, marine, flood and air-quality data — all stitched together at the edge and shown on one calm page.
Live map of every tram and bus in Freiburg
Vehicle positions interpolated along official VAG GTFS shapes and shifted by live delay data, so the map moves like the city does. Ships as a web app and on Android.
Trains across Germany, in real time
A live map of long-distance and regional trains in Germany, built on open Transitous timetable and realtime data.
Live air traffic overhead
Aircraft positions from community ADS-B networks, enriched with route and callsign data and drawn on a dark vector map.
Leading the engineering organization behind the leading platform for professional volume photographers — strategic leadership combined with hands-on technical direction.
Led a cross-functional team in a product-trio setup, working closely with product and design to deliver customer-centric solutions.
Backend development and technical delivery for features supporting the daily workflows of school photographers.
Built and maintained scalable, high-availability systems in AdTech, with a focus on backend engineering, system design and performance-critical services.
